DISCLAIMER: Newspaper taxis appear on the shore, saying "Hear ye, hear ye, these characters belong to Chris Carter!" DATE: 06/01/2004 Scully stared at Mulder's eyes across the conference table. She was fascinated. They were hazel now; he was bored, daydreaming about anything. Minutes ago they'd shown flecks of bright green, as he'd teased her for being too short to reach the doorjamb. She knew they'd turn grey when he was depressed or upset, and a deep, dark brown when he was intensely emotional. She'd never seen anything like it, she was tempted to ask him what he was smoking and if he'd share - Scully clapped both hands over her mouth to keep from disrupting Skinner's budget report with an explosive snicker. Mulder: The boy with kaleidoscope eyes! He kicked her shin under the table. Green again. Scully lost it.
