She asked me if I'd ever witnessed a miracle.

I've seen some amazing recoveries.  But at the 
heart of every remission is a sound, 
scientific, medical reason.  If I look hard 
enough, it's always there.  

I couldn't say it to her face, but in my heart 
I answered "no."

She should be dead.  She should have been dead 
two weeks ago.

I've run all the tests.  Her cancer is gone.  
As if it never was.  Impossible.

All because of an inert metal sliver and a lot 
of hope.

Congratulations, Dr. Scully; I have seen a 
miracle, and you are it.
